Best Futures VPS in 2026: 8 Providers Compared on Price, Specs and CME Latency

There is no single best futures VPS. There is a best one for a scalper who needs to sit next to the exchange, a different best one for a trader running one NinjaTrader chart through a prop-firm evaluation, and a different one again for someone who wants the platform installed before they log in.

This comparison covers eight providers that sell to futures traders. Every figure in the table was read from the provider’s own website in October 2026. Latency figures are the providers’ own claims, quoted as they state them. We did not test them, and we say so rather than repeat a number as if we had measured it.

FXVPS is one of the eight. We have put ourselves in the table on the same terms as everyone else.

Prices are the standard monthly rate, not the discounted annual rate.

1. QuantVPS: Lowest Stated Latency at an Entry Price

QuantVPS advertises 0.52 ms to CME from Chicago and starts at $29.99 a month for 2 cores and 4GB of RAM. That is the lowest entry price among the providers that claim sub-millisecond latency. NinjaTrader 8 can be selected at checkout and arrives installed on Windows Server 2022.

The entry plan is small for NinjaTrader. Their own pricing page maps “NinjaTrader with two automated strategies” to the Lite plan at $59.99 (4 cores, 8GB), and the plan they mark as most popular is $129.99. Automatic backups are only included on the ”+” plans.

Best for: latency-sensitive traders who want a low starting price and are prepared to move up a tier.

2. ChartVPS: Newest Hardware and Phone Support

ChartVPS runs Ryzen 9 9950X processors with DDR5 memory and Windows Server 2025, and states a typical 0 to 1 ms to CME from Chicago. The entry plan is $50 a month for 2 cores, 4GB and 128GB of NVMe storage, which is the most disk at this level. Daily backups and DDoS protection are included on every plan, and it is one of the few providers here with a phone number as well as live chat.

It does not state a trial or a money-back period on the pages we read.

Best for: traders who want current-generation hardware and backups included without choosing a higher tier.

3. TradingFXVPS: Most RAM in an Entry Plan

The TradingFXVPS futures plans start at $59 a month with 4 cores and 8GB of RAM, which is already NinjaTrader’s recommended memory. Other providers charge $59 to $160 for that amount. There is a 7-day trial for $3.99 and a 30-day money-back guarantee on VPS plans.

Its latency claim varies between its own pages (0.5 ms, 0.52 ms and 0.60 ms), which is a small difference but worth knowing the figure is marketing copy and not a published test.

Best for: NinjaTrader users who want 8GB from day one and a cheap way to test first.

4. NinjaMobileTrader: Built Around Prop-Firm Traders

NinjaMobileTrader hosts in downtown Chicago and claims under 1 ms to CME, Tradovate and Rithmic. It lists the futures prop firms its customers trade with, including Apex, TopStep, Tradeify and MyFundedFutures. Plans start at $59 a month for 2 cores and 3.5GB, and the plan it marks as recommended is $89 (3 cores, 8GB).

There is no standard trial, and you install your own software.

Best for: prop-firm traders who want a provider that speaks their language.

5. Speedy Trading Servers: Free Week and NinjaTrader Installed

Speedy Trading Servers offers a free one-week trial, the only fully free trial of that length here, and ships with NinjaTrader and Interactive Brokers TWS already installed. It hosts in downtown Chicago and states 1 ms to the CME matching servers.

The hardware is the weak point. The $60 entry plan has 1 core and 1.5GB of RAM, which is below NinjaTrader’s own 2GB minimum, and the top VPS plan is $160 for 4 cores and 8GB. Its FAQ still describes older Windows Server versions for VPS plans.

Best for: trying a Chicago VPS for a week at no cost before deciding anything.

6. TradingVPS.io: Cheapest Way Into Chicago

TradingVPS.io starts at $19 a month with 1 core, 4GB and 100GB of NVMe storage on Ryzen 9 9950X hardware, and states 0 to 1 ms latency with CME proximity. The $59 plan has 4 cores and 16GB, which is the most memory per dollar in this comparison.

One core is a limit for NinjaTrader with several charts. Backups are not mentioned on the pages we read.

Best for: the smallest possible monthly bill in Chicago.

7. ForexVPS.net: Many Locations, No Futures Focus

ForexVPS.net has 22 locations including Chicago, a 14-day money-back guarantee and 24/7 live chat. Plans start at $40 a month for 2 vCPU and 4GB. It is a forex-first provider and publishes no CME latency figure, only a general “as low as 1ms”.

Best for: traders who run forex and futures and want both under one account.

8. FXVPS: Lowest-Risk Start in Chicago

We host futures traders in Chicago, with London, New York, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Singapore and Tokyo available for other markets. Latency from Chicago is 1 to 2 ms. The figure that matters most is the one to your own data route, so tell us whether your account runs on Rithmic, CQG or your broker’s own servers and we will measure it for you.

What sets us apart is a low-commitment start. Plans are $29 (1 vCPU, 2GB), $39 (2 vCPU, 4GB) and $79 (4 vCPU, 8GB), billed monthly, with a $2.99 trial so you can install your platform and watch it through a real market open before paying for a month. Support is staffed around the clock, and we will tell you if the plan you picked is too small for what you are running. For NinjaTrader that usually means the $39 plan at minimum, and we explain why in our best VPS for NinjaTrader comparison.

Best for: prop-firm evaluation traders, and anyone who wants to test for $2.99 before paying for a month.

How to Choose

If you scalp or trade order flow, latency to your data gateway matters. Pick a provider physically in Chicago and ask them for a measured figure to your route (Rithmic or CQG), not the headline number on the homepage.

If you are passing a prop-firm evaluation, stability matters far more than a millisecond. You need a machine that stays up through the session and enough RAM that the platform does not stall at the open. Our guide to the VPS setup for passing prop-firm evaluations covers this.

If you run NinjaTrader, size by memory first. NinjaTrader’s own documentation lists 2GB as the minimum and 8GB as recommended.

If you have not chosen a broker yet, the data route your broker uses decides which location suits you. See our best futures brokers comparison.

How We Compiled This

Each provider’s pricing and product pages were read in October 2026. Where a provider did not state something, the table says so or leaves it out. Latency figures are quoted from the providers and were not independently tested. Prices change, so confirm on the provider’s site before you buy. If you represent one of these providers and a figure is out of date, tell us and we will correct it.
