I needed a tax certificate from IG for a calendar year (rather than the UK tax year). Their own support page states that this can be provided upon request. Sadly their “support” ranges from bad to horrible. They will not read your inquiry at all, ghost you, provide nonsensical responses and then ghost you again. It’s been a month and they still haven’t provided me with this document that probably takes 1 minute to create from their automated internal systems. Why am I paying for this account??

I make a registration , then provided all the required docs, and in website seen that im verified, but account manager said there is some problem and 3 days dont answer me and he is not saying what is the issue with my account or docs, because im ready to provide additional docs if needed! i cant even test platform with real money! Worst customer support i ever seen!

Requested a withdrawl of a portion of my funds at ig.com, they reached out requesting additional documents to prove my identity (I am with them since 2019 and requested to withdraw to the same Australian bank account which I used to add funds), I provided them with the requested information id/utility bill, and since they were asking for 3-months bank statement and it had private transactions having no relation to ig.com I asked what else can be provided or what exactly they are looking for in the statement. After a week of silence and my reminder email, they said that first page of bank statement would be OK, which had been sent to them right away. Another reminder email had been sent in 3 days, and now it is almost a week passed since the last contact. All together more than 14 days, really frustrating service. I wonder what next step should be, legal action ?
